Easter is a fun time of welcoming warmer temperatures, hunting for eggs, spending time with family and friends, eating chocolate, breaking out the spring attire and shows.
The Easter holiday is a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Church services are held throughout religious denominations around the area. The services have been extended to include some Good Friday services as well. For some religions this is the conclusion of Lent, a period of praying and fasting, leading up to Easter.

Christian churches generally hold special Easter Sunday services. This is a celebration of Jesus’ resurrection. Find your local denomination or ask a friend. I’m sure your friends would love to have you join them for this important holiday! Check with your favorite place of worship for times and topics. It’s also worth mentioning that many denominations have added Good Friday services to honor the day when Jesus died on the cross.
