We first fell in love with Serrano’s Coffee way back in 2014. Not much has changed, except our love and respect for Serranos has deepened. This local coffee shop has grown up and matured in Monument. With a Starbucks across the street in Safeway and another Starbucks within a stone’s throw away, Serrano’s lovers have remained steadfast in their support for this local business.
If you go on a typically weekday morning, you will notice a very diverse crowd. Moms gather to kickback after dropping kids at school, neighbors gather to catch up on local happenings, people come to replenish their supply of whole bean coffee and groups meet to talk politics, school board happenings and business planning. Their food offerings cover the range of pastries, muffins to sandwiches and salads. There is even quite a few options for the gluten free crowd.
Serrano’s is located in Monument just off of Highway 105 behind First National Bank and across the street from Safeway. If you are not familiar with the north side of El Paso County, Monument, Colorado is located a short drive from Colorado Springs. This rapidly growing community has a wide range of merchants, restaurants and shopping. Here is a video of Serrano’s Coffee a local Monument Coffee Shop that’s well worth the drive.
