July 4th. In Colorado Springs

 

The Pikes Peak Region is a great place to spend the July 4th. Weekend. Our rich military history and sheer volume of veterans and current military that live here make the 4th. a really big deal. So, here’s the breakdown on what’s happening: Memorial Park is the big attraction for the 4th. The day starts at noon and goes until the fireworks are done. Get there early if you want to find a place. Here’s the schedule: 

          • Activities and Concessions 12:00
          • Fort Carson 4th Infantry Division Bands noon to 3:45 pm
          • USAF Academy Band’s Blue Steel at 5:30 pm
          • The Colorado Springs Philharmonic at 7:30
          • Fireworks at Dusk

 

This event is Free and open to the public. If you want to celebrate, don’t mis the Coors Beer Garden. There is food available for purchase and picnics are welcome. There will be ATMs available. They ask that you not bring rain or sun coverings that block the view of other patrons and please leave pets, alcohol, and weapons at home.
